The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of heroes who will branch out from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
